Advancing Coaching Skills

Coaching skills develop over the experience of leading, with opportunities to recalibrate along the way. Join us for this session to focus on raising the level of your impact through coaching by learning and practicing new techniques for supporting meaningful growth and development of employees.

This session includes a personal, follow-up coaching session in November with a [curious] leadership coach to talk about your coaching practice applied after the October session.

In this session, you will:

• Reflect and center on the current level of your individual and team coaching performance.
• Learn and practice new techniques to raise the level of your coaching performance and impact.
• Launch from the session with a leadermap for continued experimentation and practice.
• Reengage with a [curious] leadership coach in November for a personal coaching session to discuss your practice and opportunities.

Experience Facilitators:

Justin Buckner

Justin is a 20-year professional in the area of talent development and organizational change with experience in the health care and consumer goods industries, including Procter & Gamble Global Services Division. An organizational consultant and certified professional Executive Coach working with leaders and teams of all experience levels and industries, Justin is also a Leadership Connector with the Cincinnati Regional Chamber Leadership Alumni Network. 

Lisa Gick, ACC  PhD Candidate, [curious] CEO + Founder, Leadership Coach 

Lisa is a 25-year business leader in the region, most recently as Vice President of Employee Engagement for the Macy's Inc., enterprise. She is a published researcher on leader identity development, a leadership coach and consultant in organizational culture.  Lisa is the Leadership Coach for the Cincinnati Chamber's WE Succeed Program for women leaders.
